RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Cardiology
I'm a dedicated veterinary surgeon, passionate about ultrasound imaging and small animal cardiology. I qualified from the University of Parma in 2002 with a degree thesis on advanced imaging techniques.
In 2004, I obtained a Master’s degree in Small Animal Cardiology and in 2016, I was awarded the Advanced Practitioner Status in Small Animal Cardiology from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
For almost two decades, I have worked in the UK, combining my role as a clinical director at a practice in the Midlands, where I manage a cardiac referral service, with my passion for delivering ultrasound training to colleagues around the country.

Jessica Williamson
BSc BVetMed PGCert Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging MRCVS
Jessica graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012 and has spent her career working in high‑caseload small animal hospitals across the country. As an imaging certificate holder with particular expertise in abdominal ultrasound, she brings together her interests in diagnostic imaging and internal medicine to deliver clear, practical teaching.

Her extensive general‑practice experience gives her a strong, real‑world approach to ultrasound, and she enjoys supporting clinicians at all stages of their careers. She focuses on helping vets interpret findings with confidence and apply them effectively in everyday clinical decision‑making, building real‑world imaging confidence for both novice and more experienced practitioners.

It's frustrating to learn on top-of-the-line ultrasound machines during these courses, only to struggle with your own equipment back at the clinic. We understand the pressure of group training sessions where you're expected to keep up and find tricky organs or cardiac views on the spot.

We'll keep it practical, focusing on the cases you see every day, using your own scanner at a pace that's comfortable for you. Plus, we provide follow-up support to guide you as you apply what you've learned.
